Water Where - The GPS of Potable Water
Did you know that 2,2 billion people around the world still lack safely managed drinking water? We are leveraging technology to improve global water access for humanity's greater good.
The Issue
At the current rate of progress, the world will not reach the SDG 6 targets or realize the Human Rights to Water and Sanitation by 2030. We need to accelerate progress up to fourfold.
Daily challenges in accessing basic water and sanitation services result in millions of deaths from water-related diseases such as malaria and diarrhea.
Our solution
"Water Where" is a mobile application created to assist NGOs, volunteers, and populations in finding sources of clean drinking water in underdeveloped and developing countries. It helps locate alternative sources of clean water when there are changes in terrain due to natural disasters or conflicts.
"Access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene is the most basic human need for health and well-being."
